Teddington Hockey Club choose Nacsport and AP Capture

In this blog, I would like to welcome Teddington Hockey Club (THC) as one of our latest Nacsport and AP Capture users. THC, established in 1871, is the oldest hockey club in the world, but they are now using some very modern video analysis processes with the combination of an AP Capture Mobile Tripod IP Camera solution and the Nacsport Basic Plus video analysis software.

The club is based in southwest London and runs eight men’s teams, six ladies’ teams and a large junior section. The Men’s 1st team play in the East Conference of the English Hockey League and the Ladies’ 1st team play in the South Clubs’ Women’s Hockey League – Division 2.

Stephen Mina is the Director of Coaching at THC and has now been using the AP Capture tripod and Nacsport software for the past two weeks. We were really pleased to see that on the day after delivering these new tools to the club, the weekend games were filmed and analysed, with footage then uploaded straight to YouTube where it was shared with followers of the club!

Here are some more pictures of Stephen using the AP Capture tripod for the first weekend, followed by a testimonial from Stephen about using Nacsport and AP Capture in the club.

I have just started using the Nacsport software at Teddington Hockey Club along with AP Capture. It has already added value to the Men’s 1s and Ladies’ 1s teams. It has definitely provided an extra coaching tool to help teams continue working on their performance. Recently we used the software to code the Men’s 3s game. The Men’s 3rd XI took a lot away from their video analysis session, which has helped highlight the gaps in the team’s game.

We would like to say a warm welcome to Teddington joining our community and wish all of their teams the best of luck for this season. Of course we would also like to say thanks to Stephen for providing his testimonial and pictures too. Check out this video from the team’s YouTube page to see some highlights from the first weekend, filmed with AP Capture and analysed with Nacsport!
